• History

Komach Textielmachines was founded in 1977 by Wil and Leidy Koobs and has since grown to become a leading worldwide supplier of second hand and used textile machinery. Maarten Koobs, son of the founders, joined the company in 2001. Together they continue the basic principles of Komach: close relationships with customers, respect for their clients  and dedication to service. Starting from a small office in Losser, the Netherlands, Wil Koobs has guided Komach to a worldwide corporation.

• International expansion

In 1991 Komach Textielmaschinen GmbH was founded. Komach’s warehousing capacity has grown to keep pace with its worldwide sales, now with 5000 square feet. That capacity has been the key to our success in the international market. Sales to more than 30 countries worldwide make up the vast majority of our total business.

• Today’s philosophy

Despite all the growth at Komach, many things remain the same. The service now is the same as when Komach started, if not better. One thing that has made Komach successful is the close relationship we’ve built with our customers.
